Kenneth Botts riding for Dayton's most significant asset--the Wright brothers!
“What one man can do himself directly is but little. If however he can stir up ten others to take up the task he has accomplished much.”
Kenneth Botts is president of The Wright Brothers USA, the exclusive global licensor for The Wright Brothers trademark, which is owned by The Wright Brothers Family Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization. TWBUSA, an agent of the foundation, is driven to make a difference in the regional community by leveraging the 93% aided-awareness of the Wright brothers.
Building a successful brand starts with first identifying the asset(s) that differentiates the entity. In the case of the Dayton region, aviation is that unique, authentic essence. No other place on earth can credibly claim the birthplace of aviation. And, the inventors of the airplane, the Wright brothers, lived, worked (in a bike shop), designed, engineered, and built their kites, gliders and airplanes in Dayton. The brothers’ Wright Cycle Company played a key part in the invention of the airplane including funding their growing interest in flight. The details of their success are well documented in the annals of history. Today, aviation continues to be a significant influence on our regional community including the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, the region’s largest employer (sixth largest employer in Ohio) plus its defense contractors (e.g., Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrup Grumman, etc.), the Wright State University and the University of Dayton “Flyers,” to name a few.
Thank you for supporting our small, but mighty, team in becoming a top-four participating charity raising over $3,000.00!
